Larry Revene was the "do it all" in the world of independent cinema. From the
earliest days of editing 8mm porn loops produced by the notorious Bob Wolfe, to
ultimately taking over for Wolfe after Wolfe moved West to flee the mafia,
Revene excelled as both camera man and director of adult motion pictures and
direct to video exploitation films.Revene worked as a camera man for producer
Monte (Guru, The Mad Monk) Issac's unseen vampire epic
Vampire Valley (1971) and also helped usher in the age of Hispanic cinema
by working on such features as Natas Es Satan (1977). A long association
with the Mafia and ties to film-makers such as Chuck Vincent lead Larry directly
from the movie theaters of the 1970's to the world of home video in the 1980's.
