Story Behind The Newcomers poster

Ok, a story behind these posters. Usually I don't share lewd things but since I'm lewd myself why would this matter. This morning some guy wrote me over at the Cinefear Video email asking questions about the Kaufman Brothers porno The Newcomers (1973). Apparently this guy is doing research on this film (???) and had seen me shoot off my mouth on a Rialto Report page about having the poster and having seen the film in the late 70's. I had seen it in either 78 or 79 at a friends house. Jamie Gillis was in the film under a false name. When I interviewed Jamie for a documentary on 42nd St (which is pretty much in the can and fourth coming) we talked about the Newcomers. I brought this poster for Jamie to autograph. He wanted the poster. I wouldn't give it to him because it was gifted to me from a good friend who was also the guy producing the documentary. He didn't sign it because he thought I was going to give it to him. He did sign my other poster, Fulfilling Young Cups, which is such a subtle poster. He signed it "To Keith, Always a pleasure, Jamie Gillis". I was already doing Gillis a huge favor transferring his 8mm adult films to DVD, this was in exchange for the interview. So, since I had to take the picture for the researcher, I figured I'd share this story with you. Why waste the picture. Enjoy!
